Engr. Valerie Ifueko Agberagba who hails from Ovia South West area of Edo State was born on 22nd February,1966. She holds a Metallurgical and Materials Engineering degree from the Federal University of Technology, Akure and a PGD (Bus. Admin.) from the University of Leicester, U.K. She is a professional Engineer, registered with COREN, NSE and the Society of Women Engineers, USA. Her areas of practice and expertise are in Quality Control and Assurance, Power Generation and Renewable Energy.


Engr. Agberagba has meritoriously served on the presidential task force on power as the Head of Institutional Continuity, Finance and Administration unit and later as a Senior Technical Adviser for the Gas and Generation NIPP Performance Monitoring team. In a professional capacity, she has served as Vice President, World Federation of Engineering Organizations, Chair, Committee for Women in Engineering, Vice President, Nigerian Society of Engineers (2011-2013) and President, Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN,2006/2007). She has worked as Head, Quality Control & Assurance on various projects including the National Assembly Project, Phase 3, Part 2. She is presently the General manager, Renewable Energy Department of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company. She is a Member of the Board of Directors (Technical) Engineering Materials Development Institute, Akure.
