The Planning Policy & Analysis Department is the arm of the Institute saddled with responsibility to ensure consistency, coherent, and effectiveness in the implementation of the Institute’s programs.

Functions

1. Coordination of the development of corporate plans and production of the Institute’s annual reports.
2. Conduct studies on overall government policies, programmes, and techno-economic trends in the country
3. Preparation of the Institute’s annual budget
4. Collates & process quarterly returns on capital projects
5. Prepares document to support budget defense and justification
6. Monitors & Evaluates the Institute’s capital projects to ensure compliance
7. Creation of evaluation workplans, maintain capital project records
8. Coordination of E-library
9. Liaison with the libraries of related MDAs
10. Assist in data collection, analysis & storage
